Things were not looking good from the window of our B and B this morning but the Gods were mainly kind to us as we set off for Bealach Na Ba..... It was an enjoyable 2,000 feet climb into a head wind, occasional hailstones but generally the visibility was good and we were celebrating the ascent within the hour .... and in the pub in Applecross 20 minutes later! After lunch we cycled 25 miles around the Applecross peninsula with great views of Skye and other islands and then well earned tea and cake in Shieldaig. Home tonight is Torridon. ..... Today was a great day to be a cyclist!! ,.. until I walked into our room ..... Couldn't believe my eyes!! Photos to follow.... Mike.
Thanks guys for the regular updates and glad the Scottish weather is improving ! Sun tan cream by the weekend (I hope). Pictures are fantastic.
