We were all delighted to hear that Mike has been promoted from Ride Leader to Ride Director after outstanding performance on our recent ride. Mike led an excellent ride from Torridon to Gairloch while also driving the support vehicle, taking action photos and providing en-route refreshments including home-made cake. And when we arrived at Gairloch he transformed into a domestic goddess to cook a hearty meal for the hungry riders.
In addition to a doubling of pay, the position of Ride Director also comes with special headgear, which must be worn on all rides.
